6.5x55 caliber. Carl Gustafs Stads 1913 Manufacture. Non-matching numbers but everything fits right and tight and functions flawlessly. Stock has some typical military handling dings and a few of the typical small tight dry cracks back at the buttplate, but is otherwise really nice. There are no cracks in the action area and the stamps in the wood are deep and well defined. All the original metal bluing is still mostly there with some weakness to the floorplate and end of barrel areas starting. Has cleaning rod and flash hider. The Torped Overslag brass disc is shiny and the numbers well-defined. The buttplate has no bluing left but it fits well and the surface pitting isn’t as bad as I’ve seen on most WW1 rifles. The bolt is in excellent condition, retaining most of its shiny finish. The bore is a strong point on this one, it is shiny and has well defined rifling. I can provide several high-res photos to any SERIOUS buyer. I can also provide a short video clip of it in operation. I am not a dealer. I am a private individual selling this firearm from my personal collection which I am gradually selling off. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CART until you have contacted me and we have worked out all the details involved in the selling/purchasing/shipping/transfer of this firearm. Terms are as per this Description section and our correspondence. Cash only if a Local sale. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID with either, just like it's done at the auctions/shows. Concealed Carry Permit works as well. I will ship to an FFL if a legible copy is provided to me. That is the only paperwork I need if shipping. Read shipping notes below. Please contact your FFL provider to ensure they are accepting firearms for transfer from private individuals that don't have an FFL. I will also need contact info for your receiving FFL so that I can arrange shipping with them. If I'm shipping the firearm, payment for the firearm and shipping combined is by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY. Shipping is to only the lower 48 and is a flat fee of 70 dollars.
