General Specs: Winchester, Year 1947, .30WCF, 6lbs. 10oz., LOP 13"
Serial Number: 1405431
Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble and fast to action the 94' is simple, safe and reliable. The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred as the “ultimate lever-action”. This solid frame Winchester carbine has the desired combination of a long wood forend, flat band magazine hanger, and very high condition factory original finishes. All original wood with some field wear, 98% factory bluing on the barrel and 85% factory overall bluing on the receiver with some light fading on the balance point and lever contrive to make this a fine example of a post war carbine. Built in 1947, serial number 1405431 has been lightly used and well cared for. Sporting a creep free crisp trigger pull and firing the .30WCF through its mirror bore it begs to be taken out for some fast handling fun! The gun is presently mounted with a Lyman receiver mounted peep sight that is micro-adjustable for windage and elevation which is very fast and handy. If the new owner wants a proper Winchester rear Sporting sight installed we can do so for no extra charge and we will keep the peep sight. For 77 years this little carbine has been cared for and superbly maintained. What a great buy compared to more modern guns that cost more and don’t even come close to matching the quality of an early Winchester. They just don’t make them like this anymore.
