This tube is Not for steel shot loads. This listing is for One Remington Factory Rem-Choke choke tube; buyers, however, may take any number of additional tubes we have on hand at the same per-choke price and with no additional shipping charges. This tube is an unfired, but old stock and discontinued variant of Remington’s Rem-Choke system introduced in the 1980s. It will fit any Remington 20 gauge barrel that is factory threaded for Rem-Choke. It Will Not Fit a Mossberg, Will Not Fit a Browning, Will Not Fit a 12 gauge Remington; and Will Not Fit the Hydraulic Handle on a Ford 3000 Tractor. It will only fit a 20 gauge Rem-Choke barrel. Factory order number is 26463, tighter ancestor to the current production 19158 tube. This variant is discontinued, and no wonder. While this tube and its factory packaging are labeled Modified, the actual muzzle diameter is .589 - .590 vicinity. That measurement is the diameter of a 20 gauge Full, or even a Super Full. A sample current production 19158 Modified tube that we had on hand in the muzzle of a brand new 870 Express 20 gauge miked at .603. These tubes, however, are much tighter than that; even tighter than many full choke tubes. A person should Not, then, use this tube with steel shot loads. Felt recoil will be more pronounced using these tubes with high powered shells, but they will hold a tighter pattern. These tubes are new and unfired with their original factory packaging, and these came to us from a gun shop liquidation in Texas. Replacement pricing on similar Rem-Choke tubes ranges well over $30 apiece at many places.
