Rifle is first model Mfg by American Machine Works. Rifle appears Unissued. Rifle is virtually flawless considering it was made in 1863. Blueing looks completely intact. Bore has slight pitting at bore end, shown in photo. Front sight Silver and unworn. Fire Blueing still good but aged slightly. Case coloring on frame slightly visible. Starting to mottle grey. Nice case colors in protected areas. Stock beautiful with perfect cartouches. Stock is completely original and has NOT been Sanded, refinished, altered, busted, broken or Carved on.. Shiny New. A Very Beautiful Rifle. I've never fired this one, but I have brass and loads which will be included with purchase.
