From a mid-west sale, a very nice full stock Antique eastern style 44 caliber Percussion Rifle, converted from a flintlock. The wood is aged to a uniform color with no chips, cracks or missing wood (see photos); however, there are dents and dings (see photos). The stock is solid (not loose) and has a brass entrance, nose cap, three brass thimbles, brass trigger guard and crescent butt plate. The metal finish is a mottled brown patina with some oxidation (see photos). The gun is 56" over all length with a 42" swamped octagon barrel (What I can see of the bore looks dark....I have not cleaned this gun) the ram rod appears to be original to the gun. There is a fixed rear sight and a German silver blade front sight. The double set trigger and lock function as they should. The lock is unmarked and it appears to be a converted flintlock (see photos). The brass butt plate and trigger guard are undamaged (see photos). The old wooden ram rod matches the gun perfectly. Everything appears old and original to my untrained eye, but since I can not guarantee the origins of this gun I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping (see my feedback). We trade guns. No reserve.
