This listing is for a Preowned Japanese Type 99 Arisaka chambered in 7.7 x 58 mm Jap. This rifle features a 26" barrel, 5 round capacity, post front & peep rear sights, dual sling swivels, hinged floor plate magazine, bayonet lug, stripper clip guide, blued barrel & receiver finish, wood stock, and monopod.The Nagoya Arsenal stamping is on the left side of the receiver after the serial. Infront of the serial number is a Series Marking present.The rifle did have a chrysanthemum on the receiver ground off. The rifling is crisp. There are no visable cracks. Overall, this rifle is ready for many more years of service.
