The Targo shooting game was first introduced in early 1940 to 1941with .22 smooth bore models designed to shoot miniature plastic clay's with rifled adapters to also allow the rifle to shoot standard .22 LR ammo. Discontinued during WWII . Re- introduced in the early 1960's with the models 320 single shot and the 340 TR with less than 2000 being produced. Production ceased in 1968 . The game proved to be just too hard in the fact the .22 shot shells were not powerful enough to break the plastic targets. The rifled insert does provide fair accuracy when used as a target rifle. We added a 5 In. long rifled barrel extension to provide a bit more accuracy when used as a target rifle. The overall condition is excellent . These rifles are extremely scarce. Fantastic find for Mossberg collectors.
All of our rifles have been cleaned and lubricated.
