This listing is for ONE magazine and adapter assembly. Here are Pre-Ban factory magazines we have outfitted with adapters to fit Smith & Wesson 4013TSW series pistols, including the Lew Horton special edition Shorty Forty. Magazine manufacturer was Smith & Wesson; construction is folded steel body with full length welded backseam, steel spring and inner plate, with black polymer floorplate and with yellow cartridge followers. The magazines themselves were manufactured in 1 and issued to a rather large municipal agency in our sister state of Georgia. Grip adapters are our own proprietary black polymer with allen type set screw. The identical magazine and grip size of the 4013TSW series pistols was fortuitous for us, in the face of a severe shortage of factory 9 round flush fitting magazines for them. Each magazine holds 11 rounds of .40 S&W caliber ammunition. With the adapter in place, these magazines fit the 4013TSW, 4053TSW, 4056TWS, and Shorty 40; with the adapters removed, they fit Smith & Wesson 4000 type metal frame pistols in .40 S&W caliber, including the standard 4003 4004 4006 4026 4043 4044 and 4046, and any of those models’ TSW variants. They will not fit the small single-stacked 4013, 4053, or 4056 type pistols. Surface wear is minimal, principally carbon deposits on the cartridge followers and shoulder scouring.We rate them as Very Good to Excellent Condition. Compatible magazines like these are scarce.
