This is a rare find of the O Series model P38 in a target configuration.
I was told by the author Warren Buxton, many years back, and confirmed by him that this target pistol is a rare custom job of superb workmanship,
and one of extremely few that's in a class by themselves and dates the work was done in 1950's. Buxton said this fine workmanship was most likely performed by the well known Georg Von Stavenhagen in Germany.
Target pistol sports a longer barrel, adj sights, adj trig, and beautiful grips.
The gun is in like new condition throughout, pics are a bit dark but you should be able to see it well, numbers and stamping etc.
A lot of meticulous workmanship was performed on this rare gun.
Please look at all pics well and ask any questions you may have.
I've had this P38 for almost three decades and never shot it.
