Fine Colt 1970 WWII 1911A1 Commemorative Series Case Only Asian Pacific Theatre
This is a very fine original circa 1970s casing for the Colt 1970 WWII series of Model 1911A1 Colts depicting the various theatres in WWII. This case fitted the COLT MODEL 1911A1 ASIATIC-PACIFIC THEATER COMMEMORATIVE SEMI-AUTO PISTOL.  Cal. 45 ACP. Inside of lid image depicts "Tokyo Bay-Sept. 2nd, 1945" Japanese surrender. The case is original light colored wood display case with faux bamboo top & glass interior in the lid with green velvet lining in bottom, fitted for the pistol, which also housed a silver rectangular plaque (NOT INCLUDED) & seven chrome plated dummy cartridges. CONDITION: Just a few storage marks includes original key.
