Here is a new and unfired, old stock specimen of the legendary Benjamin BT1500 air rifle. Type is break barrel, single stroke gas ram powered air rifle. Chambering is .177 Lead Pellet. Manufacturer is Crosman’s contractor in the world’s most populous nation. Importer, exclusive distributor and warrantor is Crosman Corporation of Bloomfield, NY. Construction is steel barrel proper, gas tube, swivel studs, trigger, receiver, scope mount rail, and stock pad bolts with alloy barrel shroud and tube cap. Stock is American hardwood, with polymer cheek pad and trigger guard. Barrel is 21 inch, with 1:15 rifling in a 16 inch shroud that contains four baffles on its muzzle end. Chambering is .177 pellet. Feeding is manual single shot. Muzzle velocity rates at 1500 feet per second. Trigger is .350 serrated face two stage. Safety is mounted inside the trigger guard, forward of the trigger, so it is ambidextrous. Stock length of pull is a very adult 14 1/2 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch black rubber butt pad. Drop is 1 1/2 inches at the comb, and 2 1/2 inches at the heel, with a mild 1/2 inch right hand casting. This rifle will not be very southpaw friendly. The Receiver Rail is 15 slot and accepts Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. Weight empty no scope is 9 pounds, centered 5 inches forward of the trigger. This rifle shipped with a very incorrect standard rifle scope.
