This Remington Sportsman 58, sn86499x, was manufactured in 1957. It has a 28” barrel choked mod that shows 98% factory bluing with a silver bead front sight. The receiver shows 97% factory bluing and displays engravings of game scenes on both sides. It has some lightening on the highpoints. The furniture features an embossed pistol grip cap, factory Remington butt plate, and crisp checkering on the wrist of the stock and beavertail forend. This gas operated semi-auto is easy to maintain and is regarded by many as one of Remington’s best handling shotguns ever made!
